Had an emergency on a Sunday evening. Called Norm's and the plumber showed up quickly. Did what he could in order to use the toilets. Called first thing the next morning and finished up the job. Very happy with the response time and Chad's professional service.

Norm’s has ‘bailed’ us more than once! Last time was yesterday. Despite being booked up, they were able to fit us in, arriving earlier than promised and took care of the plumbing issues promptly. Oliver, our tech, was most knowledgeable and provided info on future upkeep with drains. Sure gives one peace of mind. they were super super helpful. i’m a young college student living alone without my family for the first time. my uncle is a plumber and usually does all the work on the house. he wasn’t able to come and recommended Norms to me. i wasn’t sure exactly what was wrong with my water tank/heater and they were able to figure out the problem and have it fixed by installing a new tank on the same day all in the span of a couple hours. the staff member they sent was incredibly nice and helpful and explained everything he was doing super well (especially for someone who knows absolutely nothing about plumbing or any household repairs). 11/10 would recommend them to anyone.

I was having intermittent starting problems with my oil furnace. I called Norm's and within a day I had a callback and Todd came and replaced a part that was wearing out. He was informative, answering any questions or concerns that I had, explaining a little on how the furnaces worked. The price was fair and now I can relax and not worry that I would be needing to get a new furnace! Thank you Norm's...!!......and Todd!!

After explaining what I needed, Norms technician Dean saw the issue and fixed it in seconds. I wasn't charged truck fees or visitation fees. Meanwhile 2 other local Nanaimo companies quoted some ridiculous prices and suggestions that were out in left field, including a $75 truck charge! Happy to know there are still businesses left with integrity and with people who know what they are doing when it comes to plumbing and heating.

I phoned Norm’s this morning, needing a dishwasher retrofit. Another plumber had quoted me an exorbitant price, and aggressively tried to upsell me on additional work. My kitchen sinks wouldn't drain, after trying to fix it myself and calling 3 other plumbers who either didn't reply or no showed I called "Norm's". The booking was fast and easy. A qualified and very personable plumber named Devon was able to come even earlier than scheduled. The problem was a little more than we anticipated but he worked efficiently to solve the issue and was finished within a couple of hours. I felt well taken care of through the whole process with "Norm's" and only wished I had called them earlier.

Travis was awesome! Very professional, friendly, courteous,and fast. My mom runs a daycare and he was so patient and nice with the kids while changing our hot water tank. Very clean , he put mats down and cleaned the area. I only called yesterday and they fit me in the next day and had the hot water tank available. I would like to thank Norm for the great and professional job done at my place. My water heater broke down and started spilling on Christmas Eve 2022. I was desperate and almost sure no one would fix the problem until after the holidays. norm was responsive and quick and in a couple of hours stopped by and changed the water heater in about 30 mins or less. I am very happy and thankful to their service. I highly recommend them.

*Norm's did my...H20 tank replacement, brought new tank, *removed and recycled my old tank, *moved my stacking w/d *added new dryer vent. *Replaced failing water flow reduction valve. *Inspected under the house water pipes for any galvanized pipes, none there! Yaaay! Great booking service and follow up service.Raised Toilet and kitchen facet installations done last year by Norm's too.This Company is worth 10/10 stars, hands down!

Oliver was very professional. We had trouble finding where our pipe was leaking from and Oliver would not leave until it was found. We found the leak and it was small but now it’s repaired. Oliver also replaced another part that was old with a new part. It wasn’t even related to the leak problem. Oliver went above and beyond. We are appreciative of this, and will use your services again.

I recently used this company for several projects in my upstairs renovations. As it was getting close to Xmas I was very happy to get someone to do the work. The work itself was done to my satisfaction although there were some issues around the billing as the young lad had forgotten to include some of the parts in the original bill.They sent an invoice for the new amount which I never received so they phoned. I was quite surprised as I thought the bill was plenty high enough for the work done. After some back and forth with the office lady Erin (who is very nice btw) I finally heard back from the manager and he straightened things out.It is my opinion that it's easy to do all this when everything goes perfectly. The true measure of a company is how they deal with you when there is an issue. Dave the manager came through big time so I can happily recommend them for your plumbing/gas fitting needs. Not quite 5 stars but we'll give them 4 1/2.

I had a minor plumbing emergency while away on holidays and Oliver responded super quickly when my house sitter called. He fixed the major issue as best as he could and diagnosed the cause as best as he could. He came back a week later with the proper part and completely fixed the leak! He was on time, kind, respectful, super professional, and patient with me as I didn’t have a clear idea on what had happened as I was away at the time of the initial leak. Had Norm's Plumbing in to replace our old gas furnace. The experience was excellent from start to finish. I received a quote within a day and had the furnace installed within 6 weeks. Furnace works great and the new thermostat is very nice and easy to use. The technicians were friendly and got the job done on time. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone!

My partner was home as I am in Ontario. She has had nothing but good things to say about your installers. On time, clean and very professional. The only thing I would suggest is when sending emails about start dates, rather then send two separate emails with different dates send one with both dates. I screwed up and arranged the electrician to day two as I did not realized there was two days worth of work.

The were very quick to respond, we were expecting to have to wait but they came within two hours of call. They also arrived on time. There representative was very efficient and communicated what he was doing and why. We had an outside tap leaking and the inside shut off valve was defective also. This is the only company we will use in the future.

Called office. Office administrator was very polite and in tune to our problem. They exhibited concern and gave direct answers to a time frame that we might receive help. Furnace tech. was well experienced and walked us through the problem. He was concerned with getting us the best possible price for the parts needed and had them installed as soon as the parts were available. Very happy with all the follow up and service.

Was very impressed, had issues with my taps and they came out right away to look at it and went and got the parts they needed to fix it. Afterwards had a problem with the pipes themselves and after finding the leak myself they came out to check free of charge twice and told me the part I would need, bought it and they came and installed it promptly and at a very good rate.
