HVAC Apprentice – Caleb Blanco

What’s your name and job title at Norm’s?

My name is Caleb and I’m an HVAC apprentice.

How long have you been working in the trades? How long at Norm’s?

I’ve been in the trades since 2021, I worked as a Carpenter before beginning my HVAC apprenticeship with Norms in 2023.

What inspired you to get into plumbing/HVAC/your trade?

I joined Norms with an interest in plumbing, but after helping out with HVAC installations I decided that was the path I wanted to take instead.

What do you enjoy most about your job or working at Norm’s?

I enjoy working with the team and learning about the trade from those around me.

What’s one thing you’re proud of in your career so far?

I’m proud to say that I have completed year one of my HVAC apprenticeship and am excited to continue to progress.

What’s your approach when working in a customer’s home?

When I work in someone’s home I treat is as I would my own, making sure I leave no mess and no damage. I make sure my work is tidy and presentable.

What do you like to do when you’re not working?

Outside of work I enjoy hiking, painting and photography, I often spend my weekends outdoors.
