- How long have you been working in the trades? How long at Norm’s?
I completed my first year of HVAC schooling in November 2026, and Norm’s is my first job working directly in the field. Before that, most of my hands-on experience came from working with my dad. I joined the Norm’s team in July 2026. - What inspired you to get into HVAC?
I chose HVAC because I wanted to challenge myself. It’s a very technical trade with a lot to learn, and I like knowing there will always be opportunities to improve and develop my skills. I also wanted a career where I could help people and contribute to the community while meeting new people every day. - What do you enjoy most about your job or working at Norm’s?
I really enjoy the people I work with. Everyone I’ve met at Norm’s has been incredibly kind and helpful, and I couldn’t ask for a better place to start my career in the trade. - What’s one thing you’re proud of in your career so far?
Since I’m still new to the trade, I’m proud of completing my HVAC foundations program and getting my first job in the field. - What’s your approach when working in a customer’s home?
I try to be helpful, respectful, and make sure the customer feels comfortable with the work being done. Whether I’m helping with a repair, service, or installation, I want to do what’s best for them and answer any questions in a way that’s clear and easy to understand. - What do you like to do when you’re not working?
Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, playing piano and guitar, watching movies and shows, playing video games, spending time with my family and cats, hanging out with friends, and working on my car when I have some spare time. - Fun fact:
I play soccer semi-competitively and spend a lot of my free time training for it.
