- How long have you been working in the trades? How long at Norm’s?
I’ve been working in the trades for the past two years. - What inspired you to get into plumbing?
I was drawn to plumbing because of the hands-on nature of the trade. I’ve always enjoyed figuring out how things work, especially when it comes to water, drainage, and problem-solving. I also really enjoy helping customers. Plumbing problems can be stressful, so being able to find a solution and give someone peace of mind is one of the most rewarding parts of the job. - What do you enjoy most about your job or working at Norm’s?
I’m proud of the confidence and independence I’ve developed with drainage work. I’ve gained strong experience with drain cleaning and clearing blockages, and I’m comfortable troubleshooting different drainage problems and finding an efficient solution. - What’s one thing you’re proud of in your career so far?
I’m proud of how much I’ve learned as an apprentice in residential HVAC. I’m excited to become a journeyman and continue growing my skills in the years to come. - What’s your approach when working in a customer’s home?
I try to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible. I believe in being honest about what I find, explaining the problem clearly, and offering my professional opinion without recommending anything the customer doesn’t need. I want every customer to feel informed, comfortable, and confident that their plumbing problem is being taken care of properly. - What do you like to do when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I enjoy going to the gym and reading books about mindset and personal development. I like learning new things, improving myself, and building good habits both personally and professionally. - Fun fact:
I’m always looking for opportunities to learn and improve. Whether it’s developing my skills as a plumber or working on personal goals outside of work, I enjoy challenging myself and continuing to grow.
